DEBBIE WYER PILATES MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS
ABOUT THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
When we say “I”, “me”, “we”, “us”, or “our”, or “the Company” we mean Debbie Wyer Pilates. When we say “you”, “your” or “the Member”, we mean a person that is a registered member of one or more of our classes. When we say “PAR Questionnaire” we mean the physical activity readiness questionnaire completed by you.
By making the first payment you accept these Terms and Conditions to cover the entire duration of your membership. These Terms and Conditions incorporate the Membership Options below and together set out the whole agreement between you and us for the supply of services. Please ensure that you read and understand the entire Terms and Conditions.
MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS
Classes run 46 weeks of the year and monthly payments are calculated based on 46 weeks of the year with the cost being spread out over 12 months. If you are unable to make your normal class(es) (day/time of class agreed when signing up), you are welcome to attend another class subject to availability. Membership options are as follows:
SOLO: Signing up to one class per week.
DUO: Signing up to two classes per week.
TRIO: Signing up to three classes per week.
All membership options also include access to ‘On Demand’ resources. These are short online workouts that are available 24/7. To access, log into Debbie Wyer Pilates with your username and passcode, click on ‘ABOUT’ tab, then click ‘BLOG’. To access just the ‘On Demand’ videos on the BLOG page, click on ‘categories’, then click ‘On Demand’.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- You must complete the PAR Questionnaire before you start using your membership and by completing the PAR Questionnaire you confirm to us that you have no known condition or are undergoing any treatment that would prevent you from being capable of physical exercise in all material respects.
- By taking part in a Debbie Wyer Pilates class you confirm to us that you have no medical conditions known to you that would mean that you are not capable of all forms of exercise and that such exercise will not be detrimental to your health. If in doubt, it is your sole responsibility to consult a medical practitioner or to not go to any classes, tell us and cancel your membership.
- Monthly payments are calculated based on 46 weeks of the year and the cost is spread over 12 months. The remaining 6 weeks of the year cover closures due to holidays, training and unforeseen circumstances, and are not charged for.
- Membership fees must be paid in accordance with these Terms and Conditions irrespective of whether the Member attends the classes.
- The minimum membership period is 2 calendar months.
- Following the initial minimum 2 calendar month membership period, the Member can cancel their membership by giving 1 (one) full calendar month notice in writing by email to info@debbiewyerpilates.com. Once in receipt of this notice, Debbie Wyer Pilates will notify the Member of the final payment date.
- Payment is made via monthly direct debit (via Stripe). Once signed up, no further action is required as payments will be taken automatically.
- The Member is required to sign up / book onto each class to confirm their attendance.
- No refund is given for non-attendance.
- If the Member can’t make their normal class for any reason or take a week’s holiday, it is a requirement that the Member cancels their space online or messages Debbie Wyer Pilates, a minimum of 4 hours prior to the class. Subject to availability the Member is permitted to attend an alternative class within 1 (one) calendar month of the cancelled class.
- If Debbie Wyer is unable to attend due to illness, face-to-face classes will either be replaced by classes held online via Zoom (or similar), or they will be covered by another instructor. Additionally, if equipment is usually provided for one of these classes, then the class may be replaced with an equipment-free Pilates class.
- Debbie Wyer Pilates reserves the right to cancel membership if payment defaults and is not resolved promptly.
- Your records will be held securely in accordance with the data protection act. For further details as to how Debbie Wyer Pilates deals with personal data, please refer to our Privacy Policy which is available on our website https://www.debbiewyerpilates.com/ and can be provided on request.
- This agreement shall be governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any matter arising out of it.
