FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I need to have done Pilates before?
Not at all. All of our classes are suitable for everyone, including beginners.  Our classes are taught using a modern approach to Pilates. Each movement can be adapted to suit all levels.

Can I try a class before committing?
Yes, we offer a £10 trial class so you can experience our approach before signing up. In order to keep classes small and tailored, most of our sessions are fully booked. Please get in touch before signing up so we can check availability and help you find the right class for you.

What if I can’t make my regular class one week?
You can swap to another available class (space permitting) using our online system. We encourage consistency, but we understand that life happens!

What if I can’t commit to the same class every week?
While we encourage clients to attend the same class weekly (to support consistency and progress), we understand that life can be unpredictable. If you can’t commit to a regular slot, we may still be able to offer a flexible option. Please get in touch and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

What do I need to bring?
Just yourself, a mat (if you have one), comfy clothes you can move in, and water. We provide all the equipment you'll need and show you how to use it safely and effectively.

Can I join more than one class per week?
Absolutely. Many clients attend multiple classes each week.  Ask us about the best options for you.

Is it okay if I have an injury or ongoing issue?
Yes, we specialise in helping women move safely and confidently, especially if you’re dealing with niggles, stiffness, or recovering from injury. Just let us know in advance so we can support you appropriately.

What’s included in my membership?
Membership gives you access to one class per week plus our On-Demand online video library. Classes run for 46 weeks of the year, and payments are spread across 12 months.

I’ve never done Pilates or MELT before.  Can I have a private session before joining a class?
Absolutely. Many clients find a 1:1 session helps them feel more confident and supported as they start. You can book a 45-minute private session for £55. Just contact us and we’ll arrange a time.

Will Pilates help with my other activities like walking, running, or gym workouts?
Definitely. Pilates supports and complements everything else you do. It improves mobility, strength, alignment, and body awareness — all of which enhance your performance and reduce the risk of injury in activities like walking, running, and strength training.
